god-is-love_he-loves-you_2

No matter what, it is vitally important for you to know that God Is Love and He Loves You. Regardless to what you have or have not done, God still loves you. John 3:16 KJV For God so loved [me] the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The Bible also states in I John 4:8 that “… God is love.” (See v. 16.)

Now look at Romans 5:5-8 KJV.

5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. I have established with these scriptures from the Word of God, that God is love and He loves you.

There are hundreds more. HE DIED FOR YOU. How can you know of a surety that God loves you?

First,

there are many examples in the Bible of his love and mercy toward many who were far from perfect–who did things contrary to His will. In the Old Testament (Joshua 2:9; 6:23) God loved and showed mercy to Rahab who was a prostitute. Paul refers to that love and mercy in the New Testament.  “By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.” Hebrews 11:31 KJV

He loved David who became an adulterer and a murderer (II Samuel chapter 11). In chapter 12, however, David repented. (2 Samuel 12:13 KJV 13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord . And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.)

Then in Acts 13:22-23 Paul speaks of David in  this manner:

22 And when he [God] had removed him [Saul], he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.

23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus.

He loved Paul who persecuted the church and gave him the task of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles.

1 Timothy 1:11-16 KJV Paul said

11 …the glorious gospel of the blessed God, … was committed to my trust.

12 And I [Paul] thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. …

The Bible has numerous other examples of God’s love for the sinner or other not so perfect people.

Second,

I ask, “DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM OR MAYBE MULTIPLE PROBLEMS IN YOUR LIFE?” I want you to know that LOVE IS THE ANSWER. Now this is an invitation for you to cast all of your cares on Jesus even, perhaps, without having all the details of how this works. You may not be familiar with the Word of God now, but do it by faith in God. When I finish this piece, I’m going to touch “send”. I don’t understand how it’s going from here to its intended destination, but I believe it will get there. If you’re reading it, that means it did. You make the first step by believing the Word, and the Holy Spirit will help you. (But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE SHALL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS (emphasis mine) and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26) when you believe this Word you can be assured that He cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7 AMP             Casting the whole of your care all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

Trust me; you can trust the Bible which is the word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. …

The following scripture proclaims that God loves you so deeply and completely that He had gave His only begotten Son for you (us).

I John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Grab hold of it with your spirit! He gave the best for the best—you.

Read on.

I Peter 1:18-19, 23 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Third,

because of God’s love for you, you don’t have to settle for just anything in life or just anybody in your life, because you are valuable in His eyes. According to Psalm 139:14, you are “… fearfully and wonderfully made.” Receive that idea into your heart now. Say,

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made because I’m made in the image of God” (Genesis 1:26-27). “He loves me.”

Here is another examples of God’s awesome love as demonstrated through Jesus who said in Luke 4:18-19

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. …

Without a doubt he came to free us from all the clutches of the evil one. John 10:10 AMP makes it clear that “The thief [ the devil] comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”

I John chapter four proclaims more about love. If you have access to a Bible, read it several times. Yes indeed, GOD IS LOVE AND HE LOVES YOU!

Forth,

regardless of what you have or have not done, God still loves you. If you are already born again, but are experiencing some problems, again, I say, “Cast your cares on him” in faith because He is love and can be trusted to help you. (I like to put a time and date on major decisions. Write it down as reference point that that problem is no longer yours.)

If you don’t know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, this is an invitation to salvation. (See Prayer below.) You can’t be or become good enough to save yourself. Nor are you now or have been bad enough to stop His love for you.  It is yours for a repentant heart like that of David. Pray the prayer below now.**

Lastly,

whether you are just now receiving Jesus or you were already born again, give God praise; thank him for Jesus. Tell Him that you give Him your life wholly and completely because of His love and  by faith in His Word.  “… God is love.” Determine to seek his face, read the Bible, pray, and fellowship with Him. If you don’t have one, seek out a Bible believing church to fellowship with other believers.  Experience His love for yourself in a deeper fuller way, because God Is Love and He Loves You.

**SCRIPTURE FOR SALVATION**

Romans 10:9-10, 13 KJV 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

**NOW PRAY THIS PRAYER.**

Lord, I just read if I call upon your name, confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in MY heart that God hath raised him from the dead, I shall be saved. I do that by faith right now. I confess that Jesus is my Lord and that God raised Him from the dead. I AM SAVED. I want all you have for me. Lord God fill me with the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues. *Thank you Father God for saving and for filling me with the Holy Spirit. Amen.
