Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day is here. This is a time we set aside to give thanks for all that God has done for us and what have accomplished in life. The scripture admonishes us to give thanks to the Lord at all times. As a believer giving thanks should be an everyday occurrence because the God we serve deserves all the thanks, honor, and glory. Remember to give God thanks everyday.

Here is what the Word says about giving thanks.

Psalm 105:1 NLT Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.

2 Samuel 22:50 KJV Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

Psalm 92:1 KJV It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High

2 Thessalonians 2:13 ESV But we ought to always give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.
