Many things are said about God. Some will try to have you to believe that there are other gods that are true gods and that these gods can give you life. But God said He is the One and only true God.

 

Ephesians 4:6 KJV

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

In I John 4:8 God tell us who He is:

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

 

This verse tell us who He is. He is love.

 

Romans 13: 10 KJV says that love works no ill.

 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

 

God does not work evil toward you; He wants to get the truth to you of how much He loves you.

 

John 3:16  KJV tells us that God loved. So He gave.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 

This is one of God’s greatest acts. It shows his true nature and his passion for the man that He created in his own image and after His likeness.

So what was the purpose for Him giving His Son? To redeemed us (or buy, purchase us back) to Himself again.

Jesus gave His life on the cross for us, so that we could be restored back to God again. This happens when we are born again.

You may ask how do I get born again? By believing what the Bible says, that He died for our sin and God raised him again from the dead. Then confess it with your mouth.

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

NOW THAT’S THE WORD OF GOD.

It clearly proclaims the love of God for you–for mankind.
